Crusades and the trend of courtly love

The Crusades launched by the Europeans against the Arabs in Andalusia and the Levant did not pass without reaping their cultural fruits. Wars between the Arabs and Europeans are one of the factors that led to the transfer of some of the characteristics of the Arab-Islamic civilization to Europe. And the love that Arab poets spoke with all its subjects is one of the most important elements that European poets were affected by when they came into contact with Muslim Arabs during wars and peace times in the Middle Ages. We are trying, through this study, to show the strangeness of this love from the elements of Europe, which poets used to revolt against feudalism. Therefore, the Church did its utmost to fight the flirtatious poetry that glorifies women, and persecuted the poets who adopted it, however, this love was able to change the customs and laws of European society.
