Certain people in our life are often the cause of our emotional pain and trauma. However, that doesn’t mean you should shut yourself off from people for good. You will need to connect with good, genuine people in your life.
Know the people you could trust and build a strong support system with them. Reach out to trustworthy and supportive family members, friends, colleagues, church mates, etc. Talk to your pastor or get yourself a mentor or life coach. Make plans to meet them, or seek out activities where you can interact with new people.
